June Carleton Hall

June Carleton Hall, 82 of Moultonborough, passed away on October 21, 2023 with her loving husband by her side, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.

She was born in Manchester, NH, on March 15, 1941, the daughter of Keith and Barbara (Jennings) Carleton.  Raised in Manchester, NH, June attended Central High School and Westbrook College.

She owned Henderson Associates and Bedford Business Centre with her husband Don.   After they retired in 2000, they began to travel and spend even more time with their family.

June and her husband raised their children in Peterborough and Hancock. Her children were her pride and joy. She spent many summers on Kezar Lake at their camp, making memories with family. In 2008, June and Don moved to Lake Winnipesaukee in Moultonborough full time. They spent countless days on their boat and Sea-Doos, along with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

June was an avid quilter and knitter and enjoyed cross stitching. She was a member of the Material Girls in North Conway and the Moultonborough Quilters Guild.

June was called the “anchor” of the family.  She was always aware when someone in the family had a problem and was the first to jump in and help. June had contagious positivity, and her relationship with her family was adored. She created “a village” and she never missed a birthday party or family event.  Her incredible smile lit up the room. She was a kind, loyal, loving woman that welcomed anyone into her home with open arms.

In addition to her husband of 60 years, Donald Hall of Moultonborough, June is survived by her sons Greg Hall, and his wife Lisa of Port Charlotte, FL, Brian Hall, and his partner Lisa of Peterborough, and her daughter Lisa (Hall) Sullivan, and her husband Bret of Peterborough.  She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Shannon and her husband Ryan, Tanya and her husband Dan, Tyler and his wife Anna, Alyssa and her husband Patrick, Ty and his wife Jessie, Ashley, Katlyn and Brandon as well as 15 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 11, 2023 at 11:00am at the Monadnock Country Club, 49 High Street, Peterborough, NH.   A reception will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in June’s name to St. Jude Hospital or David’s House at Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital.
