Angela M. Debonis

Peterborough, NH Angela M. DeBonis, 91 , of Peterborough, died at Monadnock Community Hospital on April 29, 2014 after a period of failing health. Angela was born in Italy on November 10, 1922 the daughter of Michael DeBonis and Maria (Settani) DeBonis. Angela has been a resident of Peterborough for thirty-five years and relished the small time familiarity and sense of kinship reminiscent of where she grew up in Italy. She was a devoted and active parishioner of St. Peter's Divine Mercy Parish. Her children and all children were her greatest joy. Knitting and cooking were her interests. She was happiest when busy in her kitchen preparing a meal for family and children. Angela is survived by her son Dr. Gerald DeBonis and his wife Karen of Sharon, and her sister Costanza and her husband Antonio Pietrapertossa of Italy. She will also be missed by her granddaughter Laura and her husband Scott and children Lia and Asher of Boston; her grandson Ted and his wife Elyse and children Jack and Caty of New York City. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 2:00PM at St. Peter's Divine Mercy Parish, 18 Vine Street Peterborough, NH. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial contributions be made in Angela's name to the Divine Mercy Parish building fund, 18 Vine street, Peterborough, NH 03458 or Monadnock Community Hospital, 425 Old Street Road, Peterborough, NH 03458.
