Jaffrey, NH Arthur F. Quebec, Jr., 80, of Jaffrey passed away on January 18, 2017 at Monadnock Community Hospital after a period of failing health. Arthur was born in Boston, MA on February 16, 1936 the son of Arthur Quebec, Sr. and Alice (Methot) Quebec. Arthur was raised in Newton, MA and attended Catholic and public schools there. His craft as a builder bought him to many cities throughout New England in the following years, including Acton, MA, where he raised his four children with his beloved wife Margaret (Henley) Quebec. His building career would eventually lead them to the Jaffrey and Rindge area where they resided for the past 30 years. Arthur was a passionate family man. He loved his family dearly and took great pride in his 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife Margaret (Henley) Quebec, Arthur is survived by his four children, Kimberly Lloyd and her husband Ralph of Danbury, CT, Cheryl Jackson and her husband Dan of Fitzwilliam, Denise MacKenzie and her husband Scott of Antrim, and Michael Quebec and his partner Deb Croteau of Winchedon, MA; his brothers, Edward Quebec of Fitzwilliam, Robert Quebec of Acton, MA, Alan Quebec of Newton, MA and Richard Quebec of Hull, MA. He will also be deeply missed by his grand children, great-grand children and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service, followed by a time of continued remembrance, will be held on January 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 25 Main Street, Peterborough, NH. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions in Arthur's name be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
