Peterborough, NH Bernice H. Hyman, 102, of Peterborough, died surrounded by her loving family on June 15, 2016 after a period of failing health. Bernice was born in Newton, MA on November 29, 1913 the oldest of twelve children and the daughter of Earl G. Cookson and Bertha (Kirk) Cookson. Bernice is survived by her children, Vernon "Tom" Hyman and his wife Suzanne Haldane of Peterborough, Katherine Hyman of Paris, France, Karen Tolman and her husband Barry of Nelson; her two grandchildren, Ian Hyman of Portland, OR and Thomas Tolman of Nelson; her brother Gleason Cookson of Orlando, FL, as well as many nieces and nephews. Burial will be private for the family.
