Bruce M. Nazer, age 60 of Deering, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family, on January 1, 2021. He was born in Peterborough on March 5, 1960 the son of George and Alida (Alves) Nazer.
Bruce was a passionate gardener and artist. He spent many hours creating beautiful landscapes around his koi pond. He was inspired by nature and truly appreciated all of its beauty. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent countless hours in nature with his family and taught his children and grandchildren to love and appreciate the outdoors.
He lived in Deering for over 40 years. He retired from Osram Sylvania in 2002. He started his own Christmas Tree Farm and for many years he found much happiness in sharing the annual harvest of trees with family and friends.
In addition to his loving wife, Kathy Nazer of Deering, Bruce is survived by a son, Jesse Nazer of Guilford, VT, a daughter, Sadie Gabris of Weare, NH, three grandchildren, two brothers, George Nazer Jr of Gilmanton, NH and Larry Nazer of Deering, NH, a sister, Lynne LaSalle of Peterborough, NH and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister, Kerry Nazer, who died in 2014.
Bruce was a devoted husband, father and friend. He was honest, kind, and hard-working. He loved music and playing guitar and harmonica with his family. He was always up for the challenge of learning something new. Bruce could always find the good in people and made a connection with whomever he encountered. These are the memories that family and friends will always treasure of a life well lived.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00am at St. Charles Cemetery, Shedd Road, Hillsborough, NH.
