Bruce A Paige

Bruce Alan Paige, 71 of Bennington, passed away on September 5, 2023, at the Jack Byrne Palliative Care Center in Lebanon, NH.  He was born in Peterborough, NH on November 6, 1951, the son of Earl and Verna (Lowe) Paige.

Bruce was a lifelong resident of Bennington, where he was raised and attended Pierce School. As a young man, he loved fishing, baseball and hunting. He became friends with so many and had a heart of gold. He worked as a painter, carpenter and ended up being a “logger” in later years. He loved nature and being in the woods.

Bruce is survived by his daughter, Jess Auerbach, her husband, Mike, and grandson, Conrad, from Putney, VT, two sisters, Brenda Gibbons and Sandra Cleary, and a brother, Maurice Paige, all from Bennington NH. Bruce will be missed by many.

A memorial service and celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Sunday, September 24th, at 2:00PM at the Bennington Congregational Church, 5 Main Street, Bennington NH. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall.
