Carol Elaine Mclaren

Carol Elaine McLaren, age 90 of Temple, NH, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on January 14, 2021. She was born in Albany, NY on December 11, 1930, the daughter of Stephen and Helen (Thatcher) Francisco.

Carol grew up in Ticonderoga, NY but lived for many years in Ballston Spa, NY, and later in Winter Haven, FL , Lancaster PA and Saratoga, NY.  She loved dancing, golf, and getting together with friends and family.

Carol was predeceased by her husband of 48 years John (Bud) McLaren and her two brothers Maurice Babcock and Bruce Francisco. She leaves behind her 4 daughters: Robin Downes (Allan Pickman) of Temple, NH; Laurie Silver of Ballston Spa, NY; Mimi Staulters (Wes Staulters) of Wilmington, DE; and Candy Staulters (Gene Staulters) of Ballston Spa, NY; as well as her stepdaughter Janice Brooks of Saratoga, NY; and stepson Jack McLaren of Ballston Spa, NY. She will also be greatly missed by her 9 grandchildren (Julia Hoar, John Brooks, Alex Pickman, Keith Staulters, Anthony Scarpetti, Codey Staulters, Zach Staulters, Rylie Bernard, and Maverick Becker) and 4 great-grandchildren (Julia Brooks, Kaine Staulters, Steele Staulters, Hudson Staulters, and Julia Cooper Pickman).

Services will be private for the family.
