Carrie Anderson

Stoddard, NH Carrie Lea Anderson passed away surrounded by her loving family at her home on January 19, 2016, at the age of 61. Carrie was born in Bangor, ME on June 12, 1954, the daughter of William Eucker and Janet (Miller) Eucker. Carrie grew up in Massapequa, NY, and Egypt, PA. She married her husband, Robert Anderson, in 1978 and they settled in Windsor, NY. They lived there for over 30 years and raised their two daughters. After their daughters had grown, they relocated to a beautiful home on a lake in New Hampshire in 2010. Carrie enjoyed gardening, flowers, antiquing, and the simple things in life. She especially enjoyed reading, particularly 19th Century British Literature, and was a self-taught literary. She was a faithful member of the First Congregational Church of Hancock. Above all, Carrie loved her family and friends and treasured each moment spent with them. She also adored her cat Amber Joy. In addition to her husband Robert of nearly 40 years, Carrie is survived by her daughters Tracy Tighe and her husband Steve of Scott Township, PA, and Cara St.Hilaire and her husband Chris of Middleboro, MA. She will also be greatly missed by her four grandsons Colin Williams, Sidney Tighe, Murphy Tighe, and Anderson St.Hilaire; her siblings Sue Armstrong, Michael Callahan, William Eucker III, David Eucker, and Daniel Eucker; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins she held dear. Carrie was preceded in death by two sisters Donna Warren (2012) and April Hantz (2015). A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the First Congregational Church of Hancock, 47 Main Street, Hancock, NH.
