Cheryl M. Weeks, 63, of Peterborough, passed away unexpectedly on June 20, 2016 at her home after an illness resulting from her struggle with cancer. She was born in Peterborough, NH, the daughter of Geraldine (Smith) Ware and the beloved late Edson Ware senior of Hancock.
Cheryl was raised in Hancock, attended Peterborough High School and Conval. She met her husband Tom Weeks at the age of 15 who she later married in 1970. Cheryl shared her love for Tom with their many cats who they raised over their 46 years of marriage.
They were born 5 days apart and were and will continue to be soul mates until they meet again.
Along with her devoted husband of 46 years, Tom Weeks, Cheryl is survived by her mother Geraldine Ware of Hancock; daughter Rachel Gonynor of New Ipswich; granddaughter Sarah Gonynor; her sisters, Sandy Morrill of Hancock; Marsha White of Milford; Ann Dickens of West Charleston Vt.; brother Edson Ware Jr. of Hancock; extended family and her two Ragdoll cats, Honey and Sophie Rose.
A private graveside service will be held for the family on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00AM at the Upper Pine Hill Cemetery on Sand Hill Road in Peterborough.
