Cheryl E. Wilder, 72, of Peterborough NH, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 28, 2024, after a three-year battle with cancer. Cheryl was born in Torrington, CT on February 23, 1952, the daughter of Robert and Jeanne (Sparks) Titcomb.
Cheryl enjoyed her time working locally at Hellmers Publishing, Softlanding Systems and Staff Development for Educators (SDE), where she made lifelong friendships. After retirement she enjoyed volunteering for End 68 Hours of Hunger and donating books at Kyes Sage Bookstore. Cheryl was an avid book reader and had a passion for music. She enjoyed spending her time attending many book clubs over the years and hours in the aisles at The Toadstool Bookshop. Cheryl also loved going on lunch dates with her grandchildren at various restaurants in town and was always seen with her nails polished.
Cheryl is survived by her husband Robert Wilder of 40 years, son Mark Bemont and wife Maria Bemont of Peterborough NH, son Brian Bemont and wife Megan Luizzi of Falmouth MA, daughter Danielle Wilder and fiancé Thomas Archibald of Peterborough NH, stepdaughter Tamara Linkow and husband Alex Linkow of Bedford MA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Riley and Morgan Bemont, Benjamin and Finley Bemont, Jacob and Abigail Linkow, and her brother Glen Titcomb of Antrim NH.
Services will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cheryl’s name to Kyes Sage Bookstore or Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services.
