Temple, NH Christine Ann Clegg, 68, of Temple, died on November 7, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Christine was born in Boston, MA on September 27, 1947, the daughter of Robert MacDonald and Dorothy (Melanson) Marchuk. Christine lived in Boston with her family. She adored and attended schools in Boston before moving to Temple when she was 12. She attended Wilton High School, making life long friends. Christine met her husband Peter in Milford and they were married on March 9, 1973. She moved back to Temple where she raised her family. Christine worked for the telephone company in Peterborough, at Millipore in Jaffrey, at Bursey's in Wilton and Fish Tails in Peterborough. She volunteered at the Temple Library, before becoming a Temple Library Trustee. Being a mother was what she was most proud of. Christine loved being creative and was very artistic. She had a talent for knitting and painting. She was known for her humor, sharp wit and sense of adventure. She loved the Holidays, Christmas being her favorite. She loved tending her garden, the ocean, reading and cooking. Christine enjoyed everything Disney. She loved the classic Disney movies and enjoyed watching them with her grandchildren. Christine is predeceased in death by her husband Peter Clegg. She is survived by her children; Tina Clegg of Dublin, Frederick Clegg of Temple, Amanda-Ray Danko of Asheville, NC, her mother Dorothy Marchuk of Temple and her siblings; Richard MacDonald of Nashua, Loreen Mondello of Winthrop, MA, Stephen Marchuk of Hancock and Phillip Marchuk of Temple. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Riley Emma Codman, Edgar August Danko and Paul Herschel Danko, who lovingly called her Gramma and her beloved dog and constant companion Isabella. A visiting hour will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jellison Funeral home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough. A Time of Family Remembrance will take place at 7:00PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial contributions be made in Christine's name to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health/CHaD by visiting www.chadkids.org
