Dale Ervin

Harrisville, NH Dale Ervin, 77, of Harrisville passed away after a brief illness on September 10, 2016 at her home. Dale was born in Peterborough on July 3, 1939 the daughter of Herbert Gilchrest and Gwyneth (Smith) Gilchrest. Dale was raised in Peterborough and attended local schools. She lived her entire life in the area, residing in Rindge for a time and then settling in Harrisville. She was a longtime employee of Brookstone in Peterborough. Dale enjoyed quilting and needlepoint and looked forward to spending the winters in Florida with her husband. Family was most important to her and she cherished the time spend with her children and grandchildren. Dale is survived by her husband of more than 53 years Robert Ervin of Harrisville, her son Lance Ervin and his girlfriend Audra Perlman of Swanzey, her daughter Lorelei Ervin of Harrisville; her six grandchildren, Michael, Kaleigh, Krystal, Robert, Chelsea, and Hunter as well her great granddaughter Franny. She was also eagerly anticipating the arrival of her first great-grandson. Dale was predeceased by her two sons Todd and Travis. Services will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions in Dale's name be made to Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services, PO Box 564 Keene, NH 03431.
