Daniel Codman

Peterborough, NH Daniel Codman, 50, of Peterborough died on May 26, 2016 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center after a hard fought battle with failing health. Dan was born in Peterborough on August 29, 1965 the son of Harry Codman and Marybeth (Laffterty) Elliot. Dan loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He operated his own painting business in the area for many years and took great pride in his work. Dan made friends easily and was kind and generous to everyone. He had an infectious smile and genuinely loved the company of other people. Dan is survived by his brothers, Ed Codman and his wife Faith of Stoddard, Tom Codman and his partner Kris of Temple, Mike Codman of Hancock, Harry Codman and his wife Nippi of Thailand, and Rob Codman and his wife Jess of Hancock. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews; Sharon, Riley, Nora, Gavin and Oliver; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents. A Celebration of Dan's Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions in Dan's memory to Friends of the Loran Hanson Fishing Derby a„...
