Darrell F. Webber, 63 of Deering, NH passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023, at Concord Hospital after a brief period of failing health. He was born in Malden, MA on August 13, 1959, the son of Melvin and Delores Webber and Morgan and Barbara (Brooks) Spilsbury.
Darrell graduated from Burlington High School in Burlington, MA class of 1978 where he was part of the Jr ROTC program. He joined the Coast Guard in 1977 as a Machinist Mate and later switched to the Air Force as a Tail Gunner in the B-52 Stratofortress. He served in the Air Force from 1981 to 1985. After getting out of the service he joined his father to work as a private investigator, a position he held until his passing. His hobbies included cooking, prepping, shooting, smoking cigars and he was a handy man as well as a jack of all trades. He loved music and could tell you the name of the band in the first two notes.
Darrell is survived by his partner in life Rochelle Sternberg, his former wife and mother of his children Christine Webber (Adams), his two children Rebecca Hayes (Chad Hayes), Eric Webber (Stephanie Webber) and his grandkids Brandon, Pendleton, Ashton Hayes and Oakleigh Webber, his mother Barbara Spilsbury, his uncle Walter Brooks, sisters Heidi Barnard (Alan Barnard), Wendy Conry (Christopher Conry), brothers Eugene Webber (Emily Webber) Joseph DuPont (Carol DuPont), Wayne DuPont (Diane DuPont) and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Darrell’s life will be held on Sunday June 11, 2023 from 2pm – 5pm at the American Legion Merrimack Post 98, 43 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH.
