Ellen Ryder Kaplin

Ellen Ryder Kaplin, 79, of Antrim NH, passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2024.  She was born in Brockton, MA on January 28, 1945, the daughter of Allen and Gertrude (Howard) Foye.

Ellen grew up on her father's farm in West Bridgewater Massachusetts with five siblings. She graduated from West Bridgewater high school where she had been Queen of her junior prom.

She worked as a CNA at Beech Hill Hospital in Dublin NH until it's closing in 2001, before going on to work at Monadnock Community Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, crocheting, and making a variety of decorative crafts. Ellen loved all animals but especially had an affinity for cats.

Ellen is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Judith) Andresen and Richard (Debra) Andresen, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two sisters, Jane Jackson and Lucia (Eddy) Marcotte.

Services will be private.
