Frances Souliere, 86, of Peterborough, died on March 20, 2014, surrounded by love. Frances was born in Monson, MA on December 5, 1927, the daughter of Frank Haley and Pearl (Leonard) Haley.
Frances graduated from the Elms College with a Masters Degree in Education. She was a first grade teacher for 35 years in the towns of Charlton and Brimfield, MA. Upon retirement, she and her husband moved to Florida, and spent the summers in New England with family. Frances later lived in Jaffrey for 14 years before moving a year ago to Summerhill Assisted Living in Peterborough.
She was an active member of the Red Hat Society and St Patrick's Parish in Jaffrey. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Frances is survived by her daughters Michele Malnati and her husband Gil of Hancock, and Joanne Ferrell and her husband Roy of Brimfield, MA, and her sister Joan Conway and husband Andrew of Pennsylvania. She will be missed by her five grandchildren and her six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her loving husband Richard Souliere and by her two brothers Roger and Gerald.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Frances' name to Hospice at HCS, 312 Marlboro St., Keene, NH 03431.
