Wilton, NH Glenn L. Wright, 90, of Wilton died on May 6, 2017 at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness. Glenn was born in Bonne Terre, MO on September 10, 1926 the son of Leroy Wright and Ann Lee (Montgomery) Wright. Glenn grew up and attended schools in Saint Louis, MO. After graduating high school he served his country in the United States Army. During his time in the service he enjoyed boxing and playing baseball. He met his wife Sophie and together they lived in the Massachusetts and New Hampshire area, eventually settling in Wilton where they have resided the last eleven years. Glenn owned and operated the Gulf gas station in Milford for many years and was a self employed mechanic. He was a baseball coach for the youth in the area and a member of the American Legion Post 23. In addition to his wife, Sophie (Mackey) of Wilton, Glenn is survived by his five children; Carol Kraft of Deering, Donna Robinson of Bennington, Glenn S. Wright of Wilton, Deb Pratt of Bennington and John Wright of ME. Glenn will also be missed by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild who is on the way. A Memorial Visiting Hour will be held on May 12, 2017 from 4:30PM to 5:30PM at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough.
