Isabella Hagner Martin

Peterborough, NH Isabella Hagner Martin passed away on December 9, 2014 in Peterborough, New Hampshire. She was 91.Bella was born January 16, 1923 in Washington, DC and married to Eugene S Martin on July 20, 1950. Bella lived in Potomac, Maryland, Randolph, New Hampshire, Tucson, Arizona, and France before finally settling in Temple, New Hampshire in 1964. She joins her husband Gene, who passed away in 2011, and is survived by her three children: Boo Martin of Temple, NH, Debbie Martin and her husband William O'Malley, of Arlington, VA, and Randy and his wife Colleen Martin, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Together, Bella and Gene spent more than six decades bringing people together with their effervescent spirits and joy for life. "Wouldn't it be fun... " preceded many an adventure, party, or opportunity for a good story to tell later. And stories there were many. Bella was an avid adventurer, horsewoman, raconteur, farmer -- the list goes on, as there was nothing she wouldn't try her hand at. [Some of these tales are recounted in two books about her life: Fun Between Falls, and More Fun Between Falls] Most of all, Bella will be remembered by friends and family for her inimitable spirit and love of life, family, and friends.
