Antrim, NH James Mathias McGlory II, 74, of Antrim, died at Pheasantwood Rehabilitation Center, on April 14, 2014 after a period of failing health. James was born in Stoneham, MA on October 11, 1939, the son of James M. McGlory and Shirley (Smith) McGlory. James had lived in Antrim since 1995 after moving from Wakefield, MA. Church was his main focus and he was a parishioner of the Antrim Church of Christ. James' family was very important to him. His children and his grandchildren were his whole life. He enjoyed his work at Genesis Eldercare. He loved fishing, golfing, doing yard work, gardening and spending time in his barn. James is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Geraldine (LeFave) McGlory; his daughter Kelly St. Jean of Methuen, MA and his son James M. McGlory III of Antrim. He will also be missed by his brother, Alan McGLory of Billerica, MA; two sons in law, Stephen Beverage or North Reading, MA and Daron St. Jean of Methuen, MA, eight grandchildren, five great-granchilden and several nieces and nephews. James is predeceased by his daughter Kim Beverage who died in October 2013. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 3:00PM at the Burlington Church of Christ, 344 Cambridge Street, Burlington, MA. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial contributions be made in James' name to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr, Bedford, NH 03110.
