Jean Marie Johnson

Bennington, NH Jean Marie Johnson, 54, of Bennington, died at her home on August 29, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Jean was born in Palmer, MA, the daughter of Edward E. Boudriault and Florence (Scott) Boudriault on October 7, 1959. Jean grew up in Nashua. She moved to Antrim before moving to Bennington, where she has lived the last twenty-six years. She worked for herself as a medical transcriptionist. She loved to garden and spend time with friends and family. Through her long struggle with cancer, Jean found great comfort and support talking with other women who were going through a similar battle as her, The Stage Four Cancer Girls and the caring people at the Monadnock Community Hospital Oncology department, who became like family. Jean is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 26 years, Gary Johnson of Bennington. She will be deeply missed by her children; Aaron Fyfe and his wife Cassie of Manchester, Angela Mullahy and her husband Jon of Bennington and Jamie Johnson and his wife Elizabeth of Bennington, as well as her three grandchildren, Cooper Mullahy, Jesse Johnson and Oliver Fyfe. She will also be missed by her sisters, Gail Griffis of Attleboro, MA, and Karen Boudriault of Waterboro, Maine, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and her life-long best friend Noreen Beresh. Jean is predeceased in death by her parents, Edward E. and Florence Boudriault, brother Edward M. Boudriault and her sister Linda Higgins. A memorial service will be held September 20, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Bethel Church, 53 Elmwood Road, Hancock, NH. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Jean's name to Hospice at HCS, 45 Main Street Suite 316, P.O. Box 496, Peterborough, NH 03458.
