Keene, NH Jennifer McIntosh, 30, of Keene, died peacefully and in the loving comfort of her family and friends on February 27, 2016 at Cheshire Medical Center. Jennifer was born on January 13, 1986 in Sylva, NC. Jennifer was raised in Virginia until she and her family moved to Naples, ME in 1999. In 2002, she moved to Greenfield, NH where she attended high school at Crotched Mountain School and graduated as the Valedictorian of her class. Jennifer moved to Keene in 2008 and went on to attend Keene State College with a major in psychology. Jennifer was employed by Chesco, Inc. in Keene as a staff trainer. She was an advocate for people regardless of their challenges. She was an activist who attended demonstrations that supported people with disabilities and a lobbyist who spoke in front of the Legislature on varying issues for people with disabilities. She had been looking forward to campaigning for Bernie Sanders this year. She was a writer and she loved to dance to all kinds of music. Jennifer is survived by her mothers, Jody Goode and Tess Howell both of Naples, ME, her brother, Joshua Howell of Neff, PA; her sister Cassandra Howell and her fiancAC. Derek Bozeman of Sabattus, ME; and her grandfather Taylor Goode and his wife Pam of Newport News, VA. She will also be missed by her uncle and aunt Jamie and Heather Goode and their children, her nephews, Carson and Justin Goode all of Poquoson, VA. A Celebration of Jennifer's life will be held on April 30th at 1:00 at Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center, 1 Varney Drive, Greenfield, NH. In lieu of flowers, Jennifer requested that people donate in her name to Crotched Mountain, ABLE NH or NH Leadership at the UNH Institute on Disabilities.
