Jessica Lee Briggs

Jessica Lee Briggs, aged 36, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Franklin, NH.

She was born in Peterborough, NH, on February 5, 1987, the daughter of Nora Greene and the late Brian Briggs. Jess was raised in Washington, NH. She attended Hillsboro/Deering High School, where she graduated in the class of 2004 at just 17 years old.

Jess was an amazing big sister to Sarah, who always looked up to her “Jelly”. She was not only a sister to Sarah, but she was her cheerleader and her best friend. Jess always reminded Sarah to look at the bright side and taught her little sister everything she knew about life, even if it got them both in trouble.

Jess had a smile and a laugh that was bright enough to light up the room. She was a free spirit who loved adventures of any kind, many of which she shared with Sarah. She was strong, and she possessed the ability to be kind no matter what she herself was going through. Jess will always be remembered for her kind soul and her love of people, as well as her love for animals.

Jess is survived by her mother Nora Greene, her sister, Sarah Pasieka, brothers Kenny Briggs and Kevin Briggs, her grandmother Ellen Briggs, as well as many other family members and friends whose lives she touched so caringly.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jess will be held on Saturday November 4, 2023 from 11am to 2pm at the home of Sarah Pasieka, 57 Winter Road, Hillsboro, NH.  Jess’s immediate family invites anyone who loved and cared for her to release a pink or purple balloon up into the sky where Jess can see her favorite colors on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023, at 11AM. Her family also welcomes everyone to continue to share pictures and beautiful memories of Jess in the days and weeks to come.
