October 14, 1965 — October 28, 2022

Judith A. (Lamy) Woodman, 57, of Keene passed away in the comfort of her home on Friday, October 28th, 2022. She was born in Framingham, MA, on October 14, 1965, the daughter of Chester and Joan (Goss) Lamy. She grew up in Natick, MA where she graduated high school in 1983. She also studied American Sign Language and Deaf Studies at Northeastern University prior to moving to Windsor, VT with her family.

Judi spent much of her adult life as a stay-at-home Mom, but also worked independently as a seamstress. In her free time, she was a creator of all things. She loved to craft, draw, cook, and sew. She appreciated body art and had several tattoos and piercings of her own. She was an animal lover who bred, showed, and rescued many cats in her lifetime. Judi was incredibly sentimental and greatly enjoyed scrapbooking and reminiscing. Above all, she enjoyed quality time with her family, making the most out of holidays and celebrations.

Judi is survived by her son, A.J. Fry and his wife, Adrienne of Quechee, Vermont; and her daughters, Sarah McCarthy and her wife, Natasha of Manchester, NH; Abigail Goodwin and her husband, Matthew of Surry, NH; and Devin Woodman of Bellingham, MA. She is also survived by three granddaughters; Indigo and Aurora, daughters of A.J. and Adrienne and Ella, daughter of Abigail and Matthew. Judi also had three living siblings; Cynthia Martinez and husband Harry of Pawtucket, RI; Alan Lamy and wife Sandra of Marlborough, MA; and Greg Lamy of Marlborough, MA, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Brian Woodman, her parents, Joan and Chester Lamy, and her late siblings, Jeffrey and Deborah Lamy.

A Celebration of Judith’s life will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 11:00AM at the United Church of Christ in Keene, NH. All are warmly invited to attend and share memories.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judi’s name to Monadnock Kitty Rescue & Adoption of Jaffrey, NH or at a local animal rescue of your choosing.
