Peterborough, NH Kathleen E. Kereazis, 93, of Peterborough, died at Summer Hill Assisted Living on July 5, 2016 after a period of failing health. Kathleen was born in Peterborough, NH on January 14, 1923 the daughter of Martin and Helen (Austin) Keenan. Kathleen was born and raised in Peterborough. She attended Peterborough schools and graduated from Peterborough High School in 1941. She married her loving husband, Socrates Kereazis on December 6, 1941, the day before the attack on Pearl Harbor. She contributed to the war effort as an aircraft riveter, at what is now Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. Kathleen worked as a secretary for the American Guernsey Cattle Club. She was a long time member of St. Peter's Women's Guild, the Peterborough VFW Women's Auxiliary, and she was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for the local troops. She loved cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, horses and spending time with her family. Kathleen is predeceased by her husband, Socrates and her daughter, Diana Gorski. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Armstrong and her husband Russ of Peterborough, and her four grandchildren, Martin Armstrong and his wife Christine, Gretchen Armstrong, Tara Hughgill and her husband Timothy, and Joseph Gorski. She will also be missed by her four great grandchildren, Katlyn and Jordyn Hughgill and Ella and Isaac Armstrong; her sister-in-law Helen Pinney of Jaffrey, and her many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 9:30 AM at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM at Divine Mercy Parish, 12 Church Street, Peterborough. Monsignor Gerald Belanger will officiate. Burial will follow immediately at St. Peter's Cemetery, High Street, Peterborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathleen's name to Summerhill Assisted Living Activity Fund, 183 Old Dublin Road Peterborough, NH 03458
