Dr. Laurence P. Cloud, of Peterborough, NH, died Monday at Monadnock Community Hospital. He was 91. During World War II he was a radio-man on submarines in the Pacific. His medical career began in general practice in Peterborough in 1953, followed by four distinguished decades in oncology at the New England Deaconness Hospital in Boston and at the Falmouth Hospital in Falmouth, MA. After semi-retirement in Woods Hole, he and his wife Kitty moved to Peterborough for his last years. He is survived by his wife Kitty Cloud, his sister Deborah Cloud Vaughan of Kennett Square, PA, and a host of loving family and friends. A private service will be planned at a later date.
