Lola Schantz

Peterborough, NH Lola Schantz, 102, of Peterborough, died at Pheasantwood Center on December 16, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Ashland, KY the daughter of William Norris and Emma (Jackson) Norris. Lola grew up in Kentucky. She moved to Florida and lived there for many years before moving to Connecticut. She then moved to Peterborough, where she has lived for the last eight years. She was passionate about taking care of her family. She loved sewing and knitting, particularly for her grandchildren. Lola is survived by her three granddaughters; Lisa Barton of Newtown, CT, Shea Higely of Hancock, and Cinda Althoff of Greer, SC. of Greer, SC. She will be deeply missed by her six great grandchildren and her great-great grandchild. Lola is predeceased by her first husband, Lewis Davies and their daughter Lynn Barton as well as her second husband, Adraine Schantz. Services will be held at a later date and are private for the family. Jellison Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
