Marie V. Chamberlain

Peterborough, NH Marie V. Chamberlain, 74, of Peterborough, died at Pheasantwood Center, on April 27, 2014 after a period of failing health. Marie was born in Greenville, NH on April 10, 1940, the daughter of Irving Eastman and Marie (Vaillancourt) Eastman. Maria was a lifelong resident of New Hampshire. She was raised in Greenville and lived in Wilton for a time, before settling in Hancock for much of her adult life. She was married to Norman Chamberlain for over 40 years until his death in 2001. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. Marie is survived by five step children; her three siblings, Marie Hartshorn of Amherst, Roy Sumner of Bethlehem and Barbara Call of Bethlehem. She will also be missed by several step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Marie is predeceased by her sister Yvonne White. A Visiting hour will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 10:00AM at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough, NH. Burial will take place at a later date at Hillside Cemetery in Hancock, NH. Jellison Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
