Matthew William Rickey-Hale, a resident of Peterborough NH, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the age of 36. He was born in Greenfield, MA on October 28, 1985, the son of William Hale and Michelle Rickey. After high school, Matthew relocated to Virginia, where he lived for many years. There, he worked for a tire service company, where he helped run the shop and worked as a mechanic. Matthew was a loving and caring father, son, and brother. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to help someone. He was a genuine, giving and protective friend to all. He had a passion for lifted trucks – he and his brother enjoyed attending truck drag races together. He also loved mudding, 4 wheelers, and video games.
Matthew was predeceased by his father, William J. Hale in 2017, his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Pecor in 2014, and his maternal grandfather, Edward W. Rickey Sr. in 2021 and his aunt Sherry Hale in 2021.
