Michael Durant

Michael Durant passed away peacefully on January 1, 2024, at Alpine Healthcare Center in Keene, NH.

Michael was born on February 14, 1950, in Peterborough NH, the son of Frank B. and Marie (Aytoun) Durant.

Michael was educated at the Peterborough schools and lived in Keene most of his adult life.   Immediately following school, he served in the United States Army as part of a helicopter crew in Vietnam.   Beginning from an early age, Michael was an avid fan of Mickey Mouse.  He created his own stories of Mickey Mouse adventures and shared them both in writing and with his friends and family while visiting.

Michael is survived by his aunt and uncle Patricia and Carl Ingelstrom of Peterborough and several cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Burial will be private for the family.  Michael’s family wishes to extend thanks and deep appreciation for the staff and care that Michael received while at Alpine Healthcare Center.
