Greenfield, NH Neil Forrest Krochmal, 56, of Greenfield passed away on May 29, 2017 at his home surrounded by peace and love. Neil was born in Manchester on March 20, 1961 the son of Nicholas Krochmal and Ruth (Ambrose) Krochmal. Neil lived his early years at Laconia State School until Charles Bond took him into his home in Littleton, NH, where he attended Littleton High School, where he also worked as an assistant to the School Janitor. Neil loved helping others, to play his guitar, listen to music, canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, praying, traveling in a motor home and work. He completed his vocational training at New Hope-New Horizons, worked on a janitorial enclave at Chesco Inc., worked on piece work team through Monadnock WorkSource, owned and operated a cord wood business for 5 years; Sons of St. Joseph through Psalm 33, Inc. and worked as a janitor for Salvation Army in Keene. He touched many people with his immense heart of love and adventurous spirit, always surprising those he loved with his mischievous sense of humor. He was a quiet man who did not need words to communicate his deep feelings of caring, concern and heart of gratitude. Neil is survived by his brother Mark Krochmal of Manchester and several cousins, including his cousin Timothy Aucella (and his wife Karen and daughter Emily) of Bennington. He will also be dearly missed by his intentional family, Mary FitzPatrick, Michael Furlong and Fenton FitzPatrick all of Greenfield; Catherine FitzPatrick of Peterborough and Jan Holland of Peterborough. He was predeceased by his parents. Visiting hours will be held at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough, NH on Thursday June 1st from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday June 2 at 10:00am at Divine Mercy Parish, 12 Church Street, Peterborough. Father Mike Taylor will be the Celebrant. A reception will immediately follow the Mass.
