Nina Wood

Antrim, NH Nina Wood, 92, recently of Antrim, NH, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2014 in Peterborough, NH. Nina was born in Floreffe, PA and lived most of her life in southwestern Pennsylvania where she raised four children with her husband Van B. Wood. Nina and her husband were both WW II veterans. She was a member of the Women's Army Corps (WAC) and worked in Washington, D.C. during the war. Nina is survived by daughters Barbara Lokash of Elizabeth, PA, Janet Hart of Christiansted, St. Croix, son Robert Wood of Peterborough, NH, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Nina will be interred next to her husband in West Newton, PA Cemetery, 210 Vernon Dr, West Newton, PA, where there will be a brief service on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM.
