Antrim, NH Norma F. Bryer, 85, of Antrim, died on December 27, 2015 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a sudden illness. She was born at home in Antrim, NH on July 12, 1930, one of eight children of Andrew S. Fuglestad and Arvilla (Clark) Fuglestad. Norma was a lifelong resident of Antrim. After marrying her husband, the late Donald Bryer, she raised her family there and became deeply embedded in her community. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Antrim and was well known by all. Norma worked as a bookkeeper for over 30 years at Woodman's Florist in Peterborough. Norma was an avid bowler, at times bowling 2-3 times per week at Bowling Acres in Peterborough. It was there that she met her devoted companion, Charlie Setaro. Norma and Charlie spent the last 10 years enjoying each other's company and caring for one another. In addition to her activities in the area, Norma was a passionate bird watcher. She loved watching and feeding the birds at home. Above all, Norma adored her family. She looked forward to visits from her children and grandchildren and was delighted by their gifts of chocolate, of which she loved all kinds. Those who had the pleasure of knowing her, knew her to be fiery, passionate, and oh so stubborn. They also knew her as caring, kind, and determined to help others. She was the ultimate family matriarch and held her family together through the trials and tribulations of five plus decades of family life. Norma is survived by her step-mother Nina Harding of Antrim; her children Heather Allison of Mont Vernon, Tod Bryer and his wife Linda of Antrim, and Cindy Frink of Goffstown; her sister Constance Ikard of Houston, TX; and her four grandchildren Jason Bryer, Emily Bryer, Chelsea Frink and Courtney Frink. Norma was predeceased by her siblings Ernest Fuglestad, Inga Weaver, Shirley Warren, Gerard Fuglestad, Nelson Fuglestad, and June Brown. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday December 30, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Jellison Funeral Home, 25 Concord Street, Peterborough. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31st at 11:00 AM at First Presbyterian Church, 73 Main Street, Antrim, NH.
