Peterborough, NH
Patricia Marie Paulik, 77, of Peterborough, departed this life on May 23, 2014, and immediately entered the arms of her loving Savior, the Lord Jesus. Patricia was born in Patterson, NJ on August 1, 1936, the daughter of Edward Kalwara and Bernice (Godziebieski) Kalwara.
Pat married her husband, Richard Paulik, in Spring Valley, NY in 1959 and after living there for a time, moved to Townsend Harbor, MA before settling in Peterborough almost 40 years ago. She worked as a switchboard operator for a number of years, but spent over 20 years driving a school bus for children that she loved. She would cherish the fact that her bus driving experience allowed her to drive the children of children she had driven early on in her career.
While she enjoyed long walks and being in the kitchen, her favorite pastime was visiting with friends and family. She loved spending time with people, listening, talking, and mostly laughing with them. Pat's most cherished time was spent in her role as a wife, a mother, and best of all, a grandmother. She was a member of the Monadnock Bible Baptist Church in Rindge. She thoroughly enjoyed meeting with the ladies for the Tuesday morning Bible studies.
In addition to her loving husband of more than 55 years, Pat is survived by her daughter Bernice Caroline Demers and her husband Leonard Demers of Douglas, MA, her son Richard Frank Paulik of New Market, NH, her grandchildren Benjamin David Demers and Jonathan Andrew Demers of Douglas, MA, her sister Connie Kelishek of Greentown, PA and her nieces Kathy Ellis, Sue Connors, and Linda Sledzienski.
