Peter Clark Chamberlain, 70, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully at Westwood Center in Keene on June 22, 2018. He was born in Peterborough on October 20, 1947, the son of Norman Paul Chamberlain and Elizabeth Mae Clark.
Peter attended local schools and then enlisted in the United States Army. He held various jobs over the years and enjoyed helping friends with numerous projects. Peter had a passion for the outdoors where he would spend time gold panning, collecting stones from brooks and streams and fishing and hunting. He was an animal lover and adored his two dogs and his cats.
In addition to his loving wife of more than 15 years, Catherine Chamberlain, he is survived by his step-children Tyler Plant, Shelley Weeks along with her daughter Fallyn whom Peter cherished, Tori Plant and Chad Plant; his siblings, Marsha Gabisch of Concord, Alan Chamberlain of Concord, Wendy Dumont of Merrimack, Darlene Chamberlain of Concord and Mark Malo of Whitefield. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Peter’s life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Peter’s name to The Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
