Phyllis Marcellino

Peterborough, NH Phyllis Jean Marcellino, passed away on October, 15, 2015, she was 78 years old. Phyllis was born in Galion, OH on November 24, 1936, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Helfrich. She attended Galion schools and Bowling Green University where she majored in physical education. She married Antonio Marcellino of Rumford, ME in Bethlehem, OH on May 18, 1957, and enjoyed a loving marriage for 58 years. During her life, Phyllis was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed swimming, dancing, bowling, tennis, playing bridge, crossword puzzles, reading books and skiing. She loved the family's winter vacation skiing in Saddleback, ME and the Balsams for many years. She served as an officer in the Bishop Guertin School Mother's Club and always supported her children's school activities. She is survived by her husband Tony, a son Cary Marcellino, two daughters; Andrea Kierstead and Karen Sirimoglu and Karen's husband Kent Sirimoglu. She will also be missed by her five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services are private for the family.
