Antrim, NH Richard Whitworth, 64 , of Antrim, died at his home on September 20, 2014 surrounded by his loving daughter and granddaughter. Richard was born in Trenton, NJ on March 12, 1950 the son of W. Roger Whitworth and Helen (Titus) Whitworth. Richard spent his childhood years in Lower Makefield, PA. He graduated from Pennsbury H.S. where he was a member of the Swimming Team, Jazz Band, and Marching Band. Rich loved music and was exceptionally talented as a drummer. That talent put him on the Professional Musicians List at just 15 years old. He loved the outdoors and animals and was an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor-Order of the Arrow member. He loved to go out on his boat and go waterskiing. He was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Morrisville, PA. Rich graduated from Penn State University and went on to have a career at General Motors Corporation- Fisher Body Division, West Trenton, N.J. as a Manufacturing Supervisor, later moving to Lake Milton, OH to become an Acquisition Process Analyst at the Lordstown Metal Center in Warren, OH from where he retired after 30 years. Soon after retiring he moved to Antrim, NH to be with his family. Rich enjoyed hunting and fishing which was a passion that he taught and passed down to his beloved granddaughter. He loved football and was a ticket holder and huge fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. Richard is survived by his loving daughter Jennifer and his beloved granddaughter Sierra of Antrim NH, his brother William R. Whitworth of Bucks County, PA, his cousin Kathi King of Simi Valley, CA, and nieces Kimberly and Jamie and his dear friend Antonio Revetti of Youngstown, OH. Services will be held at a later date.
