Rose Porter Constant

Rose Porter Constant, 84, of Peterborough, NH, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord, on February 29, 2024.  Rose was born on November 24, 1939. She was raised in Hudson, NH as the oldest of 12 siblings.  She married the love of her life, Robert Leo Constant, on July 20, 1957. Rose and Bob have been married for 65 years. As a couple they were inseparable.

Rose worked for Nashua Corporation for twenty years and raised her 4 children, Pamela (Ford)Bishop, Darlene (Christopher)Jacobson, Dale (Penny Savage) Constant, and Peter Constant, with the loving care and tenderness she learned raising her siblings.  She lovingly raised her children, enjoyed flower gardening, and kept her home quaintly beautiful throughout her life. Rose loved spending time with her ten grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Sylvia (Smith) Porter and siblings, Walter, George, Robert, Sandra, Nancy and John Porter.

Rose is survived by her Husband of 65 years, Robert Leo, along with siblings, Edward Jr., Linda, Beverly, Irene, and Sheryl.

The family of Rose wishes to extend our heartful gratitude to the staff at Scott-Farrar for the loving care they provided Mom for the last several years.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a future date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations to the charity of your choice, in Rose’s name, would please her. Rose had a passion for donating to multiple charities during her life.
