Dublin, NH Susan St. George, 67, of Dublin, died on October 2, 2015 at Pheasant Wood Center in Peterborough after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Boston, MA on September 17, 1948 the daughter of Emery St. George, Jr. and Lillian (Carney) St. George. Susan was raised and attended schools in Milton and Hingham, MA. After graduating from Hingham High School, she attended Washington University in St. Louis before transferring to the University of Massachusetts to complete her Bachelor's Degree. While at UMass, Susan spent a year abroad in France. It was in France where she fell in love with the French language and would find her lifelong passion for teaching and learning the art of language. Susan moved to Montreal where she attended McGill University for graduate studies. After more than twenty years of teaching English as a second language at Concordia University in Montreal, Susan moved to Hawaii where she continued to teach English as a second language to high school students for ten years, including six years at Farrington High School. Susan loved to travel, enjoyed cooking and was an avid reader. In addition to her mother, Susan is survived by her brother Richard St. George and his wife Amy of Peterborough; her nephew Daniel St. George of CA, and her niece Alison Evans of Peterborough. She will also be missed by many cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Orleans Cemetery, Tonset Road, Orleans, MA.
