Susan P. Hunt

Susan P. Hunt, 72, of Hillsboro, passed away suddenly but peacefully at her home on September 1, 2024. She was born in Winthrop, MA on June 15, 1952, the daughter of Francis and Isabelle (Hess) Flintoff.

Growing up alongside the pier in Winthrop created a lifelong love of the ocean.  Sue spent her early years enjoying the beach with her friends and siblings and was an impressive baseball player.

Sue was extremely passionate about music and a lifelong Beatles fan. She held a deep love of all animals, and many will remember her home being like a scene from a Disney movie as her special relationship with her local wildlife was evident.   Sue’s wit and sense of humor were truly unmatched.

Sue is survived by her loving daughters Brianne Rollins and her husband Jay of Hillsboro, NH, Jennifer Seaton and her husband Matthew of Manchester, NH, Stephanie Hunt and her significant other Tyler of Ashville, NC and Carly Hunt and her significant other Meridith of Lebanon, NH; her brother Michael Flintoff and wife Ann of Jacksonville Fl, sister Donna Francis and husband Glen of West Chesterfield, NH; brother Stephen Flintoff and wife Anita of Winthrop, MA and sister in law Christine Flintoff, wife of the late Peter Flintoff, of Winthrop, MA. Sue is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Sue was predeceased by her husband, William John Hunt III, and her daughters take solace knowing they have been reunited.

Sue leaves behind a legacy of Love, Kindness and being the Cool Mom.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 21st at 10am at St. Mary’s Church, 38 Church Street, Hillsboro, NH.
