Peterborough, NH Thelma L. Bell Priest of Hancock, NH (95) died peacefully on March 23, 2017 at Summerhill Assisted Living in Peterborough, NH. Thelma was the daughter of Frances Mariah Hoyle and James R.P. Bell of Wayland, MA. She grew up in Natick, MA with her brother, James R.P. Bell Jr.. She graduated from Walnut Hill School, Mount Holyoke College and Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School. Thelma married Irving A. Priest, Jr. in 1945. They were happily married for 64 years before his death in 2009. Thelma enjoyed golfing, bird watching, hiking, swimming and her many years at Lake Nubanusit in Hancock. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends. Faith, Family and Friends, she called her 3 F's, her greatest loves. Thelma was predeceased by her husband, her parents, and her brother. Surviving family include her son Irving A. Priest III (Sara) of Concord, VT., her daughter Deborah B. Priest of Hancock, NH., four grandchildren; Michael Lamont (Alexis), Judy Stock (Jacob), Irving A. Priest IV (Katherine), an Katherine Priest. Of immense joy to Thelma were her 9 great grandchildren, Michael, James, Jaren, Sierra, Sydney, Jonah, Jack, Nickolas and Levi.
