Timothy Cone Bower, 76, of Francestown, NH passed away in his home in early January 2025. He was born in Albany, NY on February 3, 1948, the son of Anthony and Phebe (Cone) Bower.
Born in New York his family settled in Concord, NH at a young age where he graduated from Concord High School. An incredible academic and athlete Tim went on to graduate from Yale University with a bachelor’s in liberal arts. He was an independent contractor for home building for a while before teaching art and math at the high school level, eventually earning his masters in mathematics from the University of New Hampshire. He was an accomplished ‘origamist’ and sculptor, but his real passions were gems and minerals, gardening, his children, and his infamous collection of pythons and boa constrictors. He made stuffed grape leaves, the best homemade pizza ever, and told endless jokes. One could never win with him in a conversation or debate that involved the sciences or mathematics. He died unexpectedly in the home he designed, built, and was very proud of, in Francestown.
Timothy is survived by his three brothers Robert, David, and Anthony (Duker) Jr. Bower, two sisters Sarah Bower and Katie Smith, his children Michael Bower and Kimberly Euler, and his grandson Leonidas Euler.
A graveside service will be held at Francestown Cemetery Number 3 in the spring.
