Warren M. Howe, aged 90, passed away on July 2, 2024, in Jaffrey, NH. Born on April 12, 1934, in Lyndeborough, NH, Warren was a dedicated family man, a respected mold maker and admirer of all things mechanical.
Warren graduated from Wilton High School in 1952 and proudly served in the National Guard for nine years, dedicating his skills and time to national service. His career spanned several decades and various local companies, including Hitchner, Hendrix Wire and Cable, Hy-Ten Corp, and Wilton Pressed Metals, where he held the position of Shop Superintendent. His favorite role was at DEKA Research in Manchester, where he was involved in manufacturing parts and molds for the Segway and other innovative projects. Warren also ventured into entrepreneurship, founding Howe Machine Service, Intervale Machinery (with the late David Glines), and his final business venture was to establish W.M. Howe & Sons in Troy, NH where he repaired and sold farm tractor parts and implements.
He is survived by his sons Shaun, daughter-in-law Christine, Douglas, daughter-in-law Amy, and son Christopher, along with grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Dylan, and Matthew. Warren also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Bernice and Ernest Howe, brothers Ernest Jr., Glenwood, Bernard, sister Evelyn Howe Harwood, and his wife, Marita Howe.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Wednesday August 7th 2024 at 11am. The service will be at the Cutter Cemetery on Harkness Road in Jaffrey NH.
