Rindge, NH Webster R. Laviolette, 77, of Rindge, passed away on March 29, 2015 at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Boston, MA on August 15, 1937 the son of Laurence Laviolette and Florence (Johnson) Laviolette. Webster grew up and attended schools in Jaffrey, and was a graduate of Conant High School. Web enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in September of 1955, and was based at Point Barrow, Alaska. He spent four wonderful years serving his country and was honorably discharged in September of 1959. He had special training as a Morse Code Radio Interceptor, having security clearance and assigned duties copying code of highly classified information. On July 24th, 1959 Web married the love of his life, Gail (Morin) Laviolette. They moved to Leicester, Massachusetts where they would spend the next nineteen years and raise their family of six children. While in Leicester, Webster enjoyed a long career with John Hancock Mutual Insurance in Worcester, Massachusetts. During this time he was elected to the Regional Sales Honor Club of New England and upper New York State for his excellence in Insurance sales. In 1978 they returned to the Monadnock Region settling in Hancock, New Hampshire. After Web returned to the area, he owned and operated the Bennington Country Store in Bennington for ten years. After spending the next twenty-five years in Hancock, they moved to Rindge where they currently resided. Webster had a passion for all sports, but none quite as great as golf. He was a member of Tory Pines Golf Club and golfed in The Men's League for over 20 years and owned and operated Web's Custom Golf for over twenty five years, where he made custom golf clubs. He also shared a great passion for cooking and the outdoors, taking special pride in his lawn and gardens. In addition to his wife Gail Laviolette of Rindge, he is survived by six children; Brian Laviolette and his wife Cindy of West Palm, FL; Jeffrey Laviolette and his wife Kristin of Myrtle Beach, SC; Lisa (Laviolette) Labadini and her husband Frank of Salem; Cathy (Laviolette) Wood and her husband Jim of Rindge; Chris (Laviolette) Brown and her husband Wayne of Bennington and Gary Laviolette of Jaffrey; nineteen grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Brothers- In- Law; Curtis Morin, Kevin Morin, both of Florida and Sister- In-Law; Lois Brooks of Virginia Beach, VA. He will also be missed by his Brother-In-Law; Doug Morin, of Virginia Beach with whom he had a very special relationship. Webster loved his wife Gail of 55 years and their six children very much and he will be greatly missed. Webster's family would like to extend sincere thanks to the dedicated and compassionate staff at the Monadnock Dialysis Center in Keene and are eternally grateful for the support and friendship that Webster found while in treatment. Also, a sincere thank you to his caring, supportive neighbors; Carmine and Bernadette Pasqual, Don and Anne Murray, Don and Kim Pedersen who so willingly offered rides and support during these past difficult months. And thank you to Father Gerry for his visits and prayerful support. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1:00PM at St. Peter's Divine Mercy Parish, 18 Vine Street, Peterborough. Monsignor Gerald Belanger will be the Celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date at St. Peter's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Webster's name to The Building Fund, Divine Mercy Parish, 18 Vine Street, Peterborough, NH 03458.
