Bill MacDuff, 84 died peacefully on November 3rd at Monadnock Community Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on April 20, 1938 in Boston MA the son of William L MacDuff and Anne (Ezekiel) MacDuff.
After serving in the Air Force, Bill worked at Boston Edison, then earned a Commercial Pilot’s license to fly for Cape and Islands. Bill went on to a successful career as an Air Traffic Controller at Boston Center, Nashua NH and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. For a time he also was part owner of a hardware store in Wilton, NH.
Bill owned a small farm in New Ipswich where he enjoyed the farm animals, carpentry and bird carving. Later in life he enjoyed the local Sportsman Club, coffee with friends, football and driving events with British Cars of New Hampshire.
He is survived by his wife, Sue of Peterborough, NH.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00, Thursday November 10th at Divine Mercy Parish, 12 Church Street, Peterborough, NH. Interment will be at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
